Date : 1999 , December 31st

Time : 11: 59 :30 p.m.

I'm lying down on my terrace, face up, staring at this vast expanse of blackness all around me... patiently.. with all the time in the world... and slowly ...one by one.. out come the eternal dots which hold such beauty that it fills the darkness of this colourless sky.... dots which hold so much more to discover, so much more to unravel, and yet so much more to mystify... while the world around me is oblivious to the depth of philosophy this night holds... here I am, talking to the skies above, neither in actions, nor in words, nor in thought.....

I could've been dancing right now at a party, or singing songs in a group....this is after all the last day of the millennium, but what holds me here attached to this mystifying void of space? What is the strange beauty I see not with my eyes but with my imagination? What is it there that tells me there's more to it than I can ever comprehend? What unknown beyonds is it concealing that is so plain to see but I am blind to?

Questions after questions... I drifted off to a deep philosophical thought process...about the concept of life, of wonder, of mystery, of fate, of destiny, of the past, of the present , of the future.....

And then, out of the blue, it struck me. It was but for an instant, but it froze time from where I was.... it was as if I was drifted far far away... and I could see myself from somewhere above, looking down at myself gazing at the stars, and I felt I had all the answers of life and the smile of a satisfied philosopher, for it was for that one instant that I truly felt I was

One with the Universe.
