I love music . Simply anything thats good will do . Though today I'm quite a big follower of rock , a big , and i mean a very big part of me still loves good ol' pop.

Being in college makes it almost a shame to say you like boy bands . Everyone's like 'what' ?! when you say the name of that fateful band ' Backstreet Boys ' . You are almost doomed to be isolated .

But heck , there's no denying that i've always been a great fan of 'em and still am . I don't think any amount of shunning can convince me to think otherwise of the band that has given classics like ' All I have to give ' and ' Shape of my heart ' .

Two years ago , their Millennium album had come out , and I loved it. Still in Backstreet mood, I took up drawing the cover of their album ... I had this cassette cover of 'em and that was the reference I used to complete the pic.

I started off with paintbrush ( didn't know about Adobe photoshop then ) and did i think 3 of the 5 guys using paintbrush . It was pure hell , what with defining your own colours taking most of the time. By the time I reached Howie D's hands , I was about to give up , but then voila , i transitioned to Photoshop and things went on very well after that . I think except for Nick Carter ( who was the guy I started off with ) , everyone seems right.

Backstreet Boys

I've got a few stages of this drawing , as I completed it . I couldn't find the really primitive versions of this pic but I hope what's there is enough for a rough idea at least... those of you interested to see em , click on this :

The next one's one of my favourites ... I must have tried copying this masterpiece at least thrice on paper , during my life . In the end, I can safely say that the best version is what came out on computer. Check out the world famous painting , Mona Lisa.
