[ Hi everyone again . Gosh, I think its been a year since I last uploaded . I don't know how many of you guys 'n gals still come to this site, but now that you're here, hey its good to have you back :) ]
I guess you need a break from the last few philosophical drawings . So for this page , it'll be a simple portrait of a very well known actor . Amitabh Bachchan.
This one's a pencil sketch which I did on paper , and then scanned and uploaded onto the PC . It now hangs on the wall of my bedroom , all set for showing off . ( Modesty has its time limit u know ;-) )
it makes no sense introducing this man to you since if you're an Indian, you know enough, and if you're not, you couldn't care less who he was .
I was reading an article the other day on commercials , and the writer had quite a point when he said that there is absolutely no use of casting Amitabh Bachchan in advertisements for products , because no matter what happens , this personality will always be much , much greater than the product . Larger than Life, so to speak.
Folks , presenting to you , the man of the millennium ,
Amitabh Bachchan
I obviously have no stages for this drawing cuz this was drawn on paper and I wasn't insane to keep scanning the stages all the time . For tips on sketching and shading , do check out the ' Shading ' section .
The next page is the most detailed piece of work I've ever done. I've used the 'Layer' options of Adobe Photoshop to the max. Cheers to digital art ! See u there.
